Was the Mona Lisa once much bigger than its present size? The larger canvas may have contained something which certain people wished to keep hidden. That could explain why the man who said he was about to reveal "Mona's missing parts" to the world was brutally murdered. Yet another Da Vinci-related conspiracy theory? Yes, but fascinating nonetheless.
